My Shack In The Wood Of Vermont

Welcome to my home. I know it aint much but it's mine and I love it. I've got plenty of room and no noisy neighbors. What more could a girl ask for. Even got indoor plumb'n, Go figure! It looks a bit different now since all that work was done to it during the summer and as soon I can get some film I will update the picture. This is how it looked the day I moved in or there abouts.

I keep a few around to keep the brush cut back and the lawn mowed. Maybe next year I can afford a riding lawn mower and give these guys a break. There are also some chickens run'n around here so ya got to watch were you be step'n an make sure ya wipes yer feet off before come'n in.

That's what I call it. It's my space and I will do whatever I want to here. I like to garden and grow a lot of sweet corn every year. I don't have an herb garden yet but there are enough growing in the meadow and the forest to see me through until I can establish one in front of the house. I enjoy music, especially Blue Grass. I do a little pick'n myself and thank God I don't have any close neighbors, they'd be complain'n all the time.
